Anodyne Medical Device, Inc. Announces the Acquisition of Anatomic Concepts, Inc.
LOS ANGELES--(HSMN NewsFeed)--Sept. 18, 2006--Anodyne Medical Device, Inc. ("Anodyne Medical Device") announced today that it has executed definitive purchase agreements for the acquisition of Anatomic Concepts, Inc. ("Anatomic Concepts") from Anatomic Global, Inc. It is anticipated the transaction will close on or before September 30, 2006.Anatomic Concepts, headquartered in Corona, California, designs, manufactures and distributes medical support surfaces and medical Patient Positioning devices, including mattresses, mattress overlays, mattress replacements, operating room Patient Positioning devices, operating room table pads and related accessories.
Anatomic Concepts delivers the benefits of pioneering, innovative technology to sleeping, seating and Patient Positioning surfaces worldwide. Protected by eight U.S. and 26 international patents, Anatomic Sleep Support Surface Technology products provide enhanced spinal support for unsurpassed effectiveness in skin integrity protection and patient comfort.
