Transave, Inc. Appoints Mich Soga as Chief Financial Officer
MONMOUTH JUNCTION, N.J., June 5 (HSMN NewsFeed) -- Transave Inc., a biopharmaceutical company developing drugs for life-threatening lung diseases, today announced the appointment of Michio "Mich" Soga as Chief Financial Officer.Mr. Soga brings nearly twenty years of international and domestic corporate finance experience to Transave. He has held various executive positions at Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and Credit Agricole Indosuez in New York, Tokyo and London. In addition to his considerable corporate finance experience, Mr. Soga has a strong operational background, having served as Chief Financial Officer with Confetti Network, an internet company in the UK and as Interim CFO with Metaphore Pharmaceuticals (since merged with ActivBiotics). Most recently, Mich was the Chief Financial Officer of Pharmacopeia, Inc. (Nasdaq: PCOP ), a biopharmaceutical company developing small molecule therapeutics.

Mr. Soga holds a Bachelors degree from Dartmouth College, and a Masters of Private and Public Management from the Yale School of Management.
