Candela Names Jonathan Kateman Vice President and General Manager of Home Products
WAYLAND, Mass.--(HSMN NewsFeed)--Candela Corporation (NASDAQ: CLZR ) announced today that Jonathan B. Kateman has joined Candela as Vice President and General Manager, Home Products.In this new role, Kateman will oversee all aspects of Candela's entry into the home and consumer market including product development, marketing, sales, service and support. Home Products represents a key part of Candela's recently announced Emerging Opportunities Unit, which will focus on developing, acquiring and integrating new and emerging technologies.

Kateman has approximately 20 years of operations experience in the technology industry working across business, consumer, and government markets. Most recently, he was Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development at 3Com Corporation, where he also held a number of roles in global marketing and planning. He was also a member of the founding team of a technology start-up and spent his early career in the public sector.
Kateman received a Master of Business Administration with Distinction from Harvard Business School, and a Bachelor of Arts from Connecticut College.
