Alfred M. Zeien Resigns from the Board of Inverness Medical Innovations

Zeien has resigned from its Board of Directors, for health reasons."We are extremely grateful to Al for the inspired guidance he provided since joining our Board in 2001," said Ron Zwanziger, Chairman, CEO and President. "His experience running The Gillette Company proved a valuable resource to us on many occasions. We wish Al well."
Mr. Zeien's resignation creates vacancies on the Board's compensation and nominating committees, as well as the Board itself. The Company's nominating committee will consider candidates to fill these vacancies.
