SurModics Announces New Board Directors
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn.--(HSMN NewsFeed)--SurModics, Inc. (Nasdaq:SRDX ), a leading provider of surface modification and drug delivery technologies to the healthcare industry, announced today the addition of two new members on its board of directors. Robert C. Buhrmaster and Susan E. Knight have joined SurModics’ board, bringing the current number of board members to nine.Mr. Buhrmaster is the retired chairman, president and chief executive officer of Jostens, Inc., and also served in various roles at Corning, Inc., for 18 years. He also currently serves on the boards of The Toro Company and Innovex, Inc. He will become a member of the Audit Committee.
Ms. Knight is vice president and chief financial officer at MTS Systems, Inc., a leading global supplier of test systems and industrial position sensors, based in the Twin Cities. Prior to that Ms. Knight served in various management and executive positions with Honeywell International for 24 years. She also sits on the boards of Plato Learning and The Greater Metropolitan Housing Corporation. She will serve as a member of the Audit Committee.
