Broadlane Selected by Olympia Medical Center to Provide Supply Chain Services
DALLAS--(HSMN NewsFeed)--Broadlane announced today that Olympia Medical Center, Los Angeles, California, has selected Broadlane to provide an array of supply chain services under an exclusive agreement, effective March 1, 2008. Financial terms were not announced.Olympia Medical Center will have access to Broadlane’s high-powered national GPO portfolio of consumable supplies, equipment, pharmaceuticals and purchased services to help manage their approximate $17 million in annual spend. Broadlane’s proprietary technology, including OnRamp (Broadlane’s client portal) and BroadLink™ (Broadlane’s e-commerce exchange), will be utilized to streamline the purchasing processes.
“After a comprehensive audit analysis, we determined Broadlane was our best solution to provide Olympia with quantifiable supply chain savings,” said Steve Maekawa, chief financial officer, Olympia Medical Center. “We are looking forward to using Broadlane’s extensive GPO portfolio and technology to help us effectively manage our supply chain.”
