Timothy F. Floeder Joins Synovis Life Technologies as Vice President of Corporate Development
ST. PAUL, Minn.--(HSMN NewsFeed)--Synovis Life Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: SYNO ), has named Timothy F. Floeder to the new position of vice president of corporate development, effective immediately. At Synovis, he will be responsible for identifying and acquiring or licensing products synergistic with current sales call points in bariatric, general, vascular, micro and reconstructive surgery.“Tim’s hire reflects the importance we are placing on augmenting the company’s organic growth with external expansion,” said Richard W. Kramp, Synovis president and chief executive officer. “Tim is a key addition to my management team, and I am happy to have him on board. He comes with the experience, energy and expertise to help drive our external business growth.”
Floeder has more than 25 years of experience analyzing and negotiating acquisition, licensing and partnering transactions, and providing corporate finance and financial advisory services to small- and middle-market public and private companies. Prior to joining Synovis, Floeder served as vice president of business development for Compex Technologies, Inc., and as interim CEO/managing director of Compex S.A., its European subsidiary. Previously, he managed merger and acquisition services for Miller, Johnson, Steichen and Kinnard, where he worked with companies in many industries, including medical. In addition, Floeder was chief financial officer for Parsons Electric Company, a privately held electrical contractor.
He received a master’s of business administration in finance from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, and a bachelor’s degree in accounting, also from the University of Minnesota.
