Medartis Europe Appoints President of US Operations
Brad Bender Heads Up Domestic OperationsKENETT SQUARE, Pa. & BASEL, Switzerland--(HSMN NewsFeed)--Medartis AG recently appointed Bradley D. Bender as President of their Medartis, Inc. operations headquartered in Kenett Square, Pennsylvania. Mr. Bender has over 20 yeaRS Medical experience, with his expertise being in the area of trauma orthopedics. Prior to being appointed as President of Medartis Inc., Mr. Bender oversaw the Northeast Region of another trauma company leader. In 2002 Mr. Bender was awarded a U.S. patent for one of his own orthopedic devices. He has a background in medical start-up companies which will serve him well in strengthening Medartis Inc. in the U.S. market.
The announcement of Mr. Bender’s appointment comes out of Basel, Switzerland by the President of Medartis AG. According to Medartis AG President Willi Miesch, “We launched an extensive search for the individual who we needed to lead our domestic operations. Mr. Bender has a keenly developed business acumen. It was vitally important that we find someone who possessed the ability to understand the U.S. market as well as the surgeons and what they need to perform. Mr. Bender comes to our Company with that rare combination of successful business experience, the ability to understand the engineering aspects of product development and well developed relationships with industry specialists.”
While overseeing the U.S. operations of Medartis, Inc., Mr. Bender will work closely with the headquarters Medartis AG, located in Basel, Switzerland. He will also be responsible for developing partnerships with surgeons and other companies that complement the Medartis range of services and products. Mr. Bender’s extensive knowledge of the industry and its products will be utilized the Company’s research and development.
