Bilt-Rite/Mastex Moves into a Brand New, Larger Facility and xpands Manufacturing Capabilities
Croydon, PA, April 13th, 2009 - (HSMN NewsFeed) - Bilt-Rite/Mastex, the recently formed expanded medical products company that includes Bilt-Rite Orthopedics and Safety, and Mastex Industries Medical Products Division, have moved into a brand new expanded manufacturing facility just outside of Philadelphia, PA.Bilt-Rite/Mastex is a manufacturer of quality “Made in the USA” orthopedic, ergonomic and occupational supports, hot and cold therapy packs, heating pads, wheelchair cushions, mattress overlays, and other comfort pillow products.
The new Bilt-Rite/Mastex operation has grown to almost 3 times its previous size, and now comprises over 26,000 sq ft in a brand new facility. The new plant provides the perfect setting for the new Bilt-Rite/Mastex state of the art manufacturing operations. “Our new expanded plant is amazing” said Will Palmer, Bilt-Rite’s Operations Manager. “Despite the slowing economy, American manufacturing is alive and well at Bilt-Rite/Mastex. Our efficient operations
give our proudly “Made in USA” products a competitive edge in the marketplace. ”
The new manufacturing plant is also a key to new product development and further product enhancements. Included among these products are gel overlay mattresses, cushions, gel packs, back supports, and pillows. “Our new plant affords us the opportunity to offer an even more complete and high quality line of cushions and mattress overlays. One of our newest products, the CPAP pillow, is a direct result of our expanded capabilities.”
The new plant also includes a larger warehouse facility. More finished products can now be kept on hand to make order fulfillment quicker for even the largest of orders. Bilt-Rite/Mastex products are manufactured to the strictest quality standards, and have been part of a brand that customers have relied upon for over 65 years.
