Acella Pharmaceuticals, LLC Names Allen Fields as New VP, Head of R&D
ATLANTA, Feb. 15, 2012 -- (Healthcare Sales & Marketing Network) -- Acella Pharmaceuticals, LLC, a specialty pharmaceutical company, recently announced the appointment of Allen Fields, DrPH (Candidate) as Vice President, Head of R&D. Fields will be responsible for research and development, product development, clinical affairs, regulatory and technical affairs, quality and training.Fields has more than 20 years of experience as a clinical and regulatory-affairs professional. He has managed IDEs, INDs, MAAs, NDAs, ANDAs, SNDAs, 510Ks, and PMAs, preparation, strategic clinical and regulatory planning, meetings with the global regulatory agencies, and drug development. He has held senior clinical and regulatory affairs positions at small and large pharmaceutical firms, and has been an independent consultant and a Director at Quintiles International.
Fields holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Kansas Wesleyan University; M.Ed. and M.S. work at Kansas State University; graduate work at University of Kansas School of Medicine; Neuropharmacology Fellowship at Duke University; and currently additional graduate work at John Hopkins University.
